Racing Management
After we purchase a horse they are shipped to one of our top trainers, primarily in Southern California. We provide first class treatment for both our horses and our clients. From our frequent updated videos, to our weekly emails and direct phone calls. On race day, Gatto Racing provides you and your friend's some of the most elite accommodations in the industry. We provide access to the barn, VIP seating, valet parking, and paddock access where you will meet the jockey and trainer. And of course access to the Winner's Circle!
Pinhooking
We rely on our team of experts to select young horses at auctions with the intention of re-selling at a later auction. We pride ourselves on getting the highest return for our investors. We do this by working close with some of the leading consigners. The consigners board and prepare the horses for sale. We monitor the progress of each individual horse to ensure they are entered in the right sale.
Public and Private Sales
At Gatto Racing we strive for excellence. It all begins with traveling around the country to horse auctions. We do extensive research including pedigree analysis, physical evaluation, and athletic performance. We narrow hundreds of horses down into a short list of prospects, which we then have our veterinarians evaluate.
We use our network connections to scout out and find horses that can be competive in California racing. We focus on race replays, gallop outs, race conditions, and other tools to select individual horses. Each horse is purchased with a specific plan on how we will get them to succeed in California racing.
